This term with the netbooks has been like a rollercoaster it has its ups and downs sometimes it could be ok and sometimes it could have something wrong with it.We use them alot in eh with Kay Stimson she puts work in our T drive we use them at least once a week. we also use them alot in science but not as much as we do in eh. we do alot of power points and we do alot on Microsoft word,we also use them for research and homework when we are on the netbooks time go’s really fast and time fly’secause we enjoy working on them.in french at the moment we are doing a power point on our family and i like using the internet to find stuff e.g pictures and information stuff like that. in ict we hardly go on the netbooks we use the computers in the it room. They are heavy and sometimes i forget them at home but overall they are Fun to work with ect. they help me look up things and decide what i want to do for my options. i use them at home for homework and Facebook and other things ect. the best piece of work i have done on them is my art homework that i did about Vincent van Gogh i got pictures off google and research some stuff and put it into my own words.it has helped improve my learning because i use it to find out stuff I didn’t know and it gives me and idea of what something is. It helps me to have more confidence in class and i answer more questions now cuz have learnt alot from the netbooks. the only thing that i have problems with sometimes is access o the internet at school otherwise everything is fine.

Gr8 blog post Chantelle…Sounds like your netbook is a hit. Having the confidence to answer questions in class is fantasic..try answering the ones where you’re not sure…nobody minds if you get it wrong but the Buzz is amazing when you get it right….

Hi Chantelle,
It’s good to know you are enjoying using your netbook. I teach ICT and would like my students to have them too. I need to remember that they are heavy though and there are some problems – thank you for letting us know about them!

Chantelle that is so good – using your netbook for your art project. There is so much art online so great resources. Can you post any of it here?it would be good to see a sample.
